The Catch Up: A Quick Chat With Ambré

Ambré has been quietly creating one of the more solid discographies amongst her alternative R&B contemporaries. The Louisiana native released her latest EP, i do this sh*t in my sleep, on August 9, 2024.
The project featured six tracks, including the fan-favorite number, "YOU DON'T KNOW," featuring the wonderful Alex Isley, and is a smooth ride through. In Search Of Magazine got a chance to connect with Ambré to speak with her about her latest project and talk to her about her time on Victoria Monét's Jaguar tour.
Talking about her latest release, Ambré referred to the EP as an example of her "practice, preparation, and execution. I'm very excited to just be extremely creative and free."
As for her time on the Jaguar Tour, the songstress details the trek as "the best tour I've been on as an opener." "Victoria is so talented and genuinely one of the sweetest people I've ever met," she added. "Her team also represents her just the same. It was just great energy to be around. She's a superstar who I've been a fan of since I was literally in high school. As great a performer and artist as she is, she's an even better person and I think that she should win everything if you ask me."
