Alex Isle returned with a new EP, When, released on Free Lunch/Warner Records on April 18, 2025. Isley's extended play is a brief but sultry collection of songs, underscored by subtle production and assured performances from the songstress.

In "Ms. Goody Two Shoes," the singer's sexuality is fully realized as she leans confidently into her sensuality. "Fool's Gold" slows things down for a more intimate meditation on relationship dynamics while playing up to the artistic foreplay established in the work.

When is Alex Isley's first project since 2023's I Left My Heart In Ladera, a joint project with Terrace Martin.
